v1.02 with Share Feature and Ball Python Module

Written by HerperPRO on . Posted in HerperPRO News

Hello everyone!

We are happy to announce that v1.02 with our first module (Ball Python) has been released. Not only are there numerous improvements and fixes in this version, but a couple fantastic new features.

  • BALL PYTHON MODULE: For everyone who has purchased HerperPRO with goMobile, or purchases it before the end of January 2014, you will automatically have the Ball Python Module as part of your license. You will however need to turn it on, by clicking the button called “Change Purchase Module State” under your User Launchpad on the website when logged in. You can then turn the module off at any time with this same feature. Additionally, after install, please go to your DASHBOARD and under Modules, select which type of animal the module is associated with. Some people call them Royals, some Balls.
  • SHARE BUTTON: If you look up beside the HerperPRO ID you will see a SHARE icon. Click that. You can now select multiple fields from the animal you were viewing, type in the persons name and e-mail address, and send a nicely formatted e-mail through the HerperPRO system to someone. Eventually, you’ll be able to share the data on Facebook, Twitter and through our WordPress Plugin that are all in development.

Over the next couple weeks, we’re going to be designing the next module, and taking some time to work on help files, help videos, and other features that will make HerperPRO with goMobile that much better! We will also be changing over our ticketing system to another platform, so we can communicate even better with our users.

We would like to thank our partners in the newly released Ball Python Module…. The Reptile Report (http://thereptilereport.com/) and The World of Ball Pythons (http://www.worldofballpythons.com/) for providing some great data for us to use in HerperPRO.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please use the ticket system on site!

And also, PLEASE REMEMBER, the upgrade process involves you backing up your current version, and importing that backup into the new v1.02.

All the best…and happy herping!

The HerperPRO team
